Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Full Specs and Renders Leaked: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 5,000mAh Battery, and More
With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series just weeks away, leaked details have provided a comprehensive look at what to expect from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
While the specs suggest a capable flagship device, the incremental changes from its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, are raising questions about whether this generation brings enough innovation to the table.

Galaxy S25 Ultra: Leaked Specs Suggest Minor Upgrades
Leaked specifications (courtesy of reliable tipster Yogesh Brar) for the Galaxy S25 Ultra confirm incremental upgrades over its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The phone retains much of the same hardware, including a 6.8-inch QHD AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and up to 1TB of storage.
Notable changes include a 50MP ultrawide camera (up from 12MP), Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and up to 16GB of RAM. The design also gets a slight refresh, with curved edges replacing the S24 Ultra's sharp corners.
While these tweaks improve performance and usability, they are subtle, leaving the S25 Ultra feeling more like a refinement than a significant leap forward. For many, the S24 Ultra may remain a viable option in 2025.
A Familiar Design Across the Galaxy S25 Series
Renders of the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, prematurely uploaded by accessories maker dbrand (now taken down), provide further confirmation of the series' design. While the overall aesthetic remains similar to the Galaxy S24 lineup, there are a few subtle updates.
- Black Camera Rings: The silver camera rings from the S24 series have been replaced with black ones, mirroring the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
- Compact Dimensions: Rumors suggest slightly smaller dimensions for the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus compared to their predecessors.
- Slimmer Bezels: The front display design is largely unchanged, though leaks hint at slimmer bezels for all three models.
Release Timeline
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to be announced at an Unpacked event on January 22, with pre-orders starting soon after. The phones are likely to hit shelves by February 24, 2025, giving buyers plenty of time to weigh their options.
