Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Key Specs Tipped, Concept Render Surfaces Online

Samsung’s next Ultra phone may have just shown its face—well, sort of. A new concept render of the Galaxy S26 Ultra has surfaced online, shared by well-known tipster Ice Universe, and it’s already stirring conversations.

While nothing’s official, these early visuals and leaked specs offer a pretty decent idea of what Samsung might be cooking up for 2026.

A Familiar Shape, with a Twist

From the looks of it, Samsung isn’t overhauling the S26 Ultra’s design completely, but there are some noticeable tweaks. The rear camera module now appears in a raised, pill-shaped layout—something we’ve seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and S25 Edge. It still keeps the vertical triple-camera alignment, but the oval housing is new territory for the S series.

It’s subtle, but the change could hint at some hardware upgrades inside. A larger main sensor, possibly the HP2+, is reportedly in the pipeline. If that’s true, the bump in camera size may explain the need for the reshaped island.

New Leaked Specs Paint a Clearer Picture

Not long after the render dropped, tipster Debayan Roy (also known as @Gadgetsdata) shared a more detailed list of what the Galaxy S26 Ultra might offer.

Based on that leak, Samsung could be giving the phone a nearly 6.9-inch flat OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That’s a bit larger than the current Ultra and continues Samsung’s trend of slightly increasing screen real estate without curving the edges.

Inside, it’s expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, specifically the “for Galaxy” version. That’s not surprising—Samsung’s been working closely with Qualcomm on these slightly customized chips for a few years now.

The camera setup sounds stacked. The leak points to a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto with 5x zoom, and a 12MP telephoto with 3x zoom. On the front, you’d get a 12MP selfie camera.

As for power, the battery is likely staying at 5000mAh, but fast charging could get bumped up to 60W this time. That’s a noticeable jump from the 45W on current Galaxy Ultra models.

One of the more interesting changes is in the body itself. If this leak is accurate, the S26 Ultra could be thinner than 8mm and lighter than previous models. That might not sound dramatic, but if you’ve ever held a Galaxy Ultra for long periods, you’ll know how much of a difference a few grams and millimeters can make.

Still a Work in Progress

Of course, this is all unofficial. While the sources here have a decent track record, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

That said, the timing of these leaks does suggest that Samsung’s already finalizing the design and specs behind the scenes. And if history repeats itself, we’ll probably see more concrete details leak out in the coming months.
