Last month Samsung with model number SM-G8750 surfaced in the benchmark. The listing revealed that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 660, and it will be clubbed with a 4GB RAM. According to the previous rumors, the smartphone will be called Galaxy S8 Lite.
Now the same phone is been certified by the Chinese certification website TENAA, which claims that the phone will come with a 5.8-inch FHD+ display and arrives with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The listing suggests that the phone will come with a 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera. The Phone is said to be designed by a glass back and the fingerprint scanner is next to the rear camera, like same which is there at Galaxy S8. It also has a dedicated Bixby button.
According to the previous rumors the phone is expected to feature a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display, but it seems that the screen resolution will be 2220×1080 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU, paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD.
As far as the rear camera is concerned this mobile is expected to come with a single camera setup, with the 16-megapixel rear camera sensor. On the front, the phone will house an 8-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with wide-angle lens.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S8 Lite will also run on Android 8.0 Oreo. As far as the battery is concerned, the smartphone will be backed by a 3000mAh battery. The phone is also expected to come with Water and dust resistant (IP68 certification).
However, this information is based on rumors and listings and none of these is confirmed by an official of the company. So it's better to take this information with the pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement of the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite (SM-G8750) will come in Black colour and is expected to go official soon. Let's see these rumors are going to be true or not.
