Yet again, fresh renders said to be of the Galaxy S9 duo has surfaced online. The new leak confirms what we have already seen before. As per the images, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be just a slight upgrade over their predecessor, in terms of design. While the images show the Galaxy S9 from both the front and the back, but we can only see the front side of the larger Galaxy S9 Plus.

The renders, generated from the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo (via Android Headlines), reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will look almost identical to the Galaxy S8. However, the former will have a higher screen-to-body ratio. The display will be curved, with almost non-existent bezels on the sides and extremely narrow bezels on the upper and lower part. There is no physical home button.

The front panel of both the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus is exactly the same, the display size being the only difference. Other than that, we can notice a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom edge of the smartphones. In addition, we can see the power button and the volume rocker on the left side, whereas the right side of the devices appears to house the alleged Bixby button.

The rear panel of the Samsung Galaxy S9 reveals the presence of only one camera, which matches with earlier reports. Talking about its bigger brother, the Galaxy S9 Plus, it features a vertically arranged dual camera setup.

Under the camera, there lies a fingerprint scanner, while on the right there is a LED flash as well as an autofocus laser sensor.

Galaxy S9 and S9+ have already received the FCC certification in the US, which hints towards an imminent launch of the smartphones. As per existing reports, the handsets will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC for the US version and an in-house Exynos 9810 chipset for the European one.
