Samsung Galaxy S9 will be cheaper than you expect
It is likely that the Samsung Galaxy S9 is priced in the sub-50K category.
Samsung is all set to launch its flagship Galaxy S9 duo at MWC 2018 that is to take place next month in Barcelona. The smartphones have already been leaked several times, giving away the specifications. While we know what will they offer in terms of specs, there is not much information regarding their pricing. Usually, new flagships are priced higher than their predecessor. Mainly due to the increased purchase cost of components and exchange rate fluctuations.

So presumably the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will cost more than the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Luckily for us, it is going to be the other way around as suggested by Samsung Chinese President Quan Guixian. He said that even though many manufacturers are increasing the prices of their phones, the Galaxy S9's selling price will be the lowest in the world.

This means the upcoming flagships could be priced lower than the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy 8 Plus. If you remember, the Galaxy S8 was priced $720 (approximately Rs. 45, 975) in the US. In India, however, the smartphone was launched at Rs. 57, 900. So it is likely that the device is launched in the sub-50K category.
However, there is another possibility. The Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus could cost the same as the Galaxy S8/S8 Plus. This is the same thing OnePlus had done with its current flagship OnePlus 5T. OnePlus 5T carries the same price tag as the OnePlus 5.
Meanwhile, popular leakster Evan Blass has claimed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on February 26, the first day of MWC 2018. He has further revealed that pre-orders for the smartphones will begin on March 1, followed by their release on March 16. While you may be skeptical with the information, Blass is usually correct with Samsung phone leaks.
Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are said to be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor or the newly launched Samsung Exynos 9810 processor depending on the region.
The Galaxy S9's retail box was recently leaked, revealing it will sport a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display delivering QHD+ resolution. The smartphone will feature the company's signature Infinity Display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. There will be minimal bezels on the device.
For the memory part, the smartphone is likely to retain the same 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage combination. Speaking of the cameras, the Galaxy S9 will be equipped with a single rear camera with a12-megapixel sensor enabled with OIS. Referred to as "Super Speed dual-pixel" camera, it will be capable of taking images faster. The rear camera will have variable aperture.
Samsung Galaxy S9's camera will have a maximum aperture size of f/1.5, allowing users to take excellent quality images in low light conditions. However, the camera will switch to f/2.4 when there is sufficient light. The front camera of the smartphone will be of 8-megapixel with autofocus.
