Well, the Samsung Galaxy W20 5G smartphone is all set to be announced in China today. It is a tweaked version of the Galaxy Fold 5G. A couple of teasers regarding the device have already appeared online and show a sneak peek at the upcoming foldable smartphone.

The video teaser shared on Weibo shows the white tone of the smartphone, which is one of the most noticeable design changes. It is the very same color option of the Samsung Galaxy W20 that was seen on the official Chinese Samsung Members site a few days late last month.

Apart from the design, the new teaser poster for the launch event of the Samsung smartphone shows the 5G capabilities of the device. Notably, it is a 5G variant of the original Galaxy Fold, so it will be meant for those users who wish to try the country's newly launched 5G networks. For the unaware, in China, three major telcos offer 5G networks.

Both the teasers hint that the upcoming foldable smartphone from the company does not have a noticeable hinge when the device is folded, but the Galaxy Fold hinge is clearly visible and is said to easily accumulate debris and dust. There are possibilities that the company might use new tech for the Galaxy W20 5G.
