Samsung’s Affordable Galaxy F36 5G is Launching in India Today: Check Expected Specifications and Pricing

Samsung is gearing up to unveil a new affordable smartphone in its F series today. The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G will aim to take on competition from iQOO, Realme, Redmi, and Motorola. And while details about its specifications are still under wraps, Samsung has given us a look at its rear panel design, which is similar to the recently unveiled Galaxy M36 5G.

Samsung Galaxy F36 5G India Launch

The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is launching in India at 12 noon (IST) today. Following the launch, the handset will be listed for purchase through Flipkart as a dedicated page for the F36 5G is already listed on the e-commerce site.

The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G price in India is expected to start from under Rs 20,000. Considering the device will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy M36 (Starting Price: Rs 17,499), we expect pricing to be similar.

Samsung Galaxy F36 5G Specifications

The phone will be powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also run Android 15 with One UI 7 on top. Samsung could offer six years of OS upgrades and six years of regular security patches with the Galaxy F36. It is anticipated to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The main camera on the Galaxy F36 will be a 50 MP unit with OIS, capable of supporting 10-bit HDR recording for both front and rear cameras. Additionally, it will include an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro sensor. Up front, we could see a 13MP selfie camera.

The design is sleek at just 7.7mm thick. The phone is expected to come with a robust battery capacity of 5000mAh, supporting fast charging at up to 25W. For durability, it will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The Galaxy F36 will offer consumers an affordable yet feature-rich option in Samsung's lineup.
