Shocking: OnePlus 6 listed on HDFC Smartbuy with single rear camera
The launch of OnePlus 6 is just two weeks away and the flagship is been spotted on HDFC Bank SmartBuy, which is the only shopping portal of the bank.
The launch of OnePlus 6 is just two weeks away and the flagship is been spotted on HDFC Bank SmartBuy, which is the only shopping portal of the bank. Apart from the image of the flagship phone, the listing has also revealed some of the specifications of the phone. The most surprising part was that the website specifications did not match with the earlier leaked reports.
The listing suggests that the OnePlus 6 will sport a 5.7-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:9. While the previous report claims that the phone will at least come with the 6-inch screen.
The SmartBuy listing reveals two variants of the OnePlus flagship one at Rs 36,999 and other at Rs 39,999. According to the listing, the device is shown as "Out of Stock". Along with this, the listing claims that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage.
The shocking part of the listing is that it claims that the phone will not house a dual camera setup on the rear, instead, it will come with a single camera module with a 23-megapixel camera at the rear camera. On the front, the phone will house a double-camera setup with a combination of dual 16-megapixel camera sensors. The device is listed to be backed by a 3500 mAh battery.
Interestingly, the specifications on the SmartBuy listing can be considered to be fake. The smartphone has been repeatedly reported to sport a larger-than-6-inch display along with an iPhone X like notch at the top.
In addition, the camera list is obviously not true because OnePlus 6 is known to sport a dual camera setup at the back. The listing might put it in an opposite format. Later the listing was pulled down from the website and now one has the access to that page.
OnePlus 6 is all set to launch globally on May 16 and a day after it will be unveiled in India at an event in Mumbai. The smartphone will be priced at Rs 36,999. As per the recent announcement of the OnePlus 6, the company has also announced pop-up events which will take place across 8 Indian cities, between 21-22 May.
Interested fans will have the chance to experience and purchase the flagship OnePlus 6 at these pop-up stores on a first come- first serve basis over.
