Ahead of that launch, the company is offering a large discount on its srt.phone. This Flipkart exclusive smartphone is now available at just Rs. 7,500 for the 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. At the time of the launch, this variant was priced at Rs. 12,999. There is a higher variant that has the same RAM configuration but 64GB native storage space. No such offer is there for this variant.

The Smartron srt.phone was launched in India back in May 2017. The handset comes with a decent design and pretty impressive features. It is fitted with a 5.5-inch display that delivers a FHD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

Under the hood, the Smartron srt.phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor teamed up with 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 graphics unit. As mentioned earlier, the device comes in two variants based on the internal storage space- 32GB and 64GB. It is worth mentioning that there is unlimited storage space with the tronX platform.

On the software front, the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box that is promised to give a 30% faster performance to the smartphone. It is assured by the company that the OS will be optimized to give a native stock Android-like experience with quick security patches.

Talking about the optics aspect, the Smartron srt.phone is equipped with a 13MP rear-facing primary camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash and there is a 5MP selfie camera at the front with wide-angle lens.

To keep the lights on, the smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that offers support for Quick Charge 2.0 technology. Since the back cover is removable, the battery can also be removed. When it comes to connectivity, the device supports connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. The dual SIM smartphone also features a USB Type-C port for charging.

Design-wise, however, the Smartron srt.phone, fails to impress much. It sports polycarbonate body, which makes it lightweight.
