These cores promise significant performance improvements in both single and multi-threaded tasks. The Adreno 830 GPU paired with this chipset also enhances rasterization and ray tracing capabilities.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Full Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch

The Snapdragon 8 Elite, previously known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, includes a '2 + 4' CPU cluster. The performance cores can reach speeds of up to 4.32GHz, while efficiency cores can hit 3.53GHz.

This was evident when the OnePlus 13 achieved the highest multi-core score on Geekbench 6, surpassing Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Max with its A18 Pro chip. Qualcomm claims a 44% reduction in power consumption compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Advanced Graphics and AI Capabilities

Equipped with an Adreno 830 GPU, the Snapdragon 8 Elite offers a substantial graphics boost, delivering a 40% improvement and a 35% increase in ray tracing acceleration over previous models. The GPU operates at a clock speed of 1.10GHz across three slices. This setup ensures that AAA games run smoothly, thanks to support for modern graphics APIs.
