Sony Xperia 1 V Launched With New Exmor T Sensor: Specifications, Features
Sony has unveiled the new Xperia 1 V smartphone, sporting a new Exmor T for mobile stacked sensor for low-light photography. The flagship is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and comes with 12GB of RAM.

The Sony Xperia 1 V features a 6.5-inch OLED display with a 4K resolution. The screen has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The panel comes with a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection.

The Xperia 1 V features a triple camera array at the rear, which is led by a 52MP camera with a 1/1.35-inch Exmor T sensor. The main camera also comes with electronic and optical image stabilization (OIS).
Accompanying the primary camera is a 12MP telephoto sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens. At the front, there's a 12MP shooter for selfie and video calling.
Powering the Xperia 1 V is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, which is accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There's also a microSD card for storage expansion.
The Sony Xperia 1 V features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging. The smartphone can reportedly charge to up to 50% within 30 minutes. The device also features wireless and reverse wireless charging.
When it comes to the audio, the Xperia 1 V features stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports Dolby Atmos, Stereo Recording, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. As for the operating system, the smartphone ships with Android 13.
Sony Xperia 1 V Price, Availability
The Sony Xperia 1 V is priced at a whopping €1,399 (around ₹1,25,500) in Europe and £1,299 (around ₹1,34,000) in the UK. The smartphone comes in black, platinum silver, and khaki green color options and will go on sale from late June.
