The successor of Xperia XZ smartphone has once again paid a visit to online world before its official launch. This time around we have come across some pictures from the production line, which are said to be of the upcoming Xperia XZ1. As per some reports, the pictures are said to be originally shared by one industry insider from China.
The pictures that appeared on Slashleaks.com, shows a rear shell of the supposed Xperia XZ1 handset with a sizable hole for camera module in the top-left corner of the rear panel. The all metal rear shell also shows a big LED flash opening to support the camera system, which reminds us of the Xperia XZ Premium.
However, the size of the flash module also seems to be bigger in size this time. Moreover, the design of the leaked rear shell of Xperia XZ1 also goes in sync with the design of the Xperia XZ Premium displaying a rectangular frame with minimal rounded edges.
If the above leaked pictures turn out to be final images of the Xperia XZ1 in production, then we can expect some sort of advancements in the camera functionality due to bigger spaces in the shell.
We might see an improved version of the 19MP Motion Eye camera that we have tested on Xperia XZ Premium. The camera can record super slow motion videos at 960 fps.
Besides, as per previous sightings, the upcoming Xperia XZ1 is expected to run the latest Android flavor-Android 8.0. The previous GFX listing also revealed information about the possible specifications of the upcoming handset that will make it to the IFA 2017.
