Swipe Konnect Plus Launched for Rs. 4,999; Comes with 16GB internal memory & 13MP Rear Camera

    Swipe has launched yet another affordable smartphone under their belt. The company is already well-known for their low-cost Android smartphones in India, and the Konnect Plus dubs into the same segment.

    Swipe Konnect Plus Launched in India for Rs. 4,999

    Earlier in 2016, Swipe launched the Konnect 5.1 smartphone for Rs. 3,999 with decent specifications and the Konnect Plus will be the upgrade to Konnect 5.1. The Konnect Plus boasts of a 5-inch 720p display with its screen protected by Dragon Trail display technology.

    There is a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset under the hood and is paired with 2GB of RAM for system operations. However, Swipe did not reveal the model of the chipset used in the smartphone. Swipe has included 16GB of internal storage and the storage can be further expanded up to 64GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

    Swipe Konnect Plus comes with a 13MP rear camera along with LED flash. Also, the smartphone has a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie lovers. Out-of-the-box, the smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is now considered as an outdated version of Android as Android N release date is approaching.

    The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports dual SIM's and has support for 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Swipe should have added support for 4G LTE as well. With a decent specifications sheet, the Swipe Konnect Plus has an attractive price tag of Rs. 4,999.
