Tecno Camon 20, Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G launched in India: Check Price, Specs, Availability

Tecno recently announced two new smartphones in India. The Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G are the latest additions to the company's line-up in the country. To recall, the company unveiled the Tecno Camon 20 series earlier this month.

However, only the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G made its way to India, leaving out the Camon 20 Premier 5G. The Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G debut in India's affordable and mid-range segment, respectively. Here's everything you need to know about the Tecno Camon 20 series in India.

Tecno Camon 20 Series India Pricing, Availability

Tecno Camon 20 price in India is set at Rs 14,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. The Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G price in India starts from Rs 19,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant and goes up to Rs 21,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration. The Tecno Camon 20 will be available in India starting today, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G doesn't have an official sale date yet.

The Tecno Camon 20 comes in Predawn Black, Glacier Glow, and Serenity Blue colours, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G arrives in Dark Welkin and Serenity Blue shades. Additionally, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G India launch is expected to arrive sometime in June or July. The Tecno Camon 20 series will be available for purchase through Amazon India.

Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G Specifications

The Tecno Camon 20 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone supports RAM Expansion (up to 8GB) and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Camon 20 Pro 5G runs on Android 13-based HIOS 13.

For optics, the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G gets a triple-camera setup with a 64 MP RGBW primary sensor that supports OIS. The other two cameras include a 2 MP macro lens and 2 MP depth sensor. Up front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera. The Camon 20 Pro packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The Camon 20 Pro 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint reader. The Camon 20 Pro 5G features a slim design, artistic textured leather back, and uses 2.5D "wear resistant ceramic" back panel.

Tecno Camon 20 Specifications

The Tecno Camon 20 shares most of its specifications with its 'Pro' counterpart. The only differences between the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G is that the former is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset.

Moreover, the vanilla Camon 20 uses the same 64 MP RGBW primary camera sensor but loses out on OIS support. Additionally, the depth sensor is replaced with a QVGA unit. Lastly, the Camon 20 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
