TECNO Camon 30 and Camon 30 Premier India Launch Imminent; Spotted on BIS Certification

TECNO just dropped the POVA 6 Pro in India. Now, it seems the brand will be launching two more devices to its Camon series. Both the Camon 30 5G and the Camon 30 Premier 5G are expected to arrive soon in the country.

The handsets were spotted on the BIS certification listing, hinting at an imminent India launch. However, there is no information regarding the exact launch timeline of these devices.

TECNO Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G India Launch Likely Soon

To recall, Tecno unveiled the Camon 30 5G and the Camon 30 Premier 5G at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 alongside the Camon 30 Pro 5G and the Camon 30. It remains to be seen whether the brand will bring all models.

In terms of features, the Camon 30 5G features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W fast charging support.

For imaging, the Camon 30 5G offers a 50MP triple rear camera setup with OIS support. Other features include a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

On the other hand, the TECNO Camon 30 Premier 5G succeeds the Tecno Camon 20 Premier. The smartphone ships with the new PolarAce Imaging System. It has a 6.77-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1,264 x 2,780 pixels, a 144GHz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 1,400nits.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. Running Android 14 OS, the Camon 30 Premier 5G includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support, a 50MP periscope camera sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.

For selfies, the smartphone gets a 50MP front-facing camera shooter. Further, it packs the same 5,000 mAh battery with 70W fast charging support as the Camon 30 5G.
