Tecno Pop 7 Pro Goes on Sale in India: Here’s How Much the Budget Phone Costs

The Tecno Pop 7 Pro is now available for sale in India, nearly a week after it launched in the country. Touted as a budget-friendly smartphone, the 7 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC and packs a 5,000mAh battery.

Tecno Pop 7 Pro: Price in India

The Tecno Pop 7 Pro is priced ₹6,799 for the 2GB + 64GB base model. For ₹500 more, you can purchase the 3GB + 64GB variant, which costs ₹7,299. The Pop 7 Pro comes in Uyuni Blue and Endless Black colorways and is available on Amazon.

Tecno Pop 7 Pro: Specifications

The Tecno Pop 7 Pro has a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 1612 × 720-pixel resolution. The display supports 480 nits of peak brightness, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a touch-sampling rate of 120Hz.

For processing, the Pop 7 Pro has a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with an IMG PowerVR GPU. The smartphone boots the stripped-down Android 12 Go Edition with a layer of HiOS 11.0 on top of it.

Moving on to the imaging capabilities, the Tecno Pop 7 Pro features a dual camera setup, comprising a 12MP primary camera and a depth sensor. At the front, the phone is equipped with a 5MP selfie camera.

The Pop 7 Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. There's also a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. Sadly, the budget phone doesn't feature a fingerprint sensor. However, it does support face unlock.

The Tecno Pop 7 Pro has an IPX2 rating for splash resistance. The phone supports dual SIM and includes support for 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), and GPS.
