Tecno Pop 7 Surfaces on Google Play Console, Key Specs Revealed

When the Tecno Pop 7 Pro launched in India last month, there was no word about its vanilla model. The Tecno Pop 7 has now been spotted on the Google Play Console, hinting at an imminent launch.

The Tecno Pop 7 was also seen on other certification sites such as Bluetooth SIG, FCC, and NBTC. Here's everything we know about the upcoming smartphone.

Tecno Pop 7 Features

According to the Google Play Console listing spotted by Pricebaba, the Tecno Pop 7 features an HD+ display with a resolution of 720 × 1,612 pixels. The screen has a pixel density of 320 PPI.

As per an FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing spotted late last year, the smartphone has a massive square-shaped camera module at the rear, just like the Pro version. We can expect it to include a dual-camera setup, a fingerprint scanner, and an LED flash.

Additionally, the Google Play listing features an image of the Tecno Pop 7’s display. Going by the image, the smartphone features a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera.

The listing further reveals that the Tecno Pop 7, bearing model number BF6, will be equipped with an octa-core UniSoC SC9863A processor. It will be accompanied by an IMG PowerVR GE8322 GPU.

In addition, the upcoming phone will come with 2GB of RAM. The device will boot Android 12 Go Edition out of the box.

The Tecno Pop 7 will feature 64GB of internal storage, according to the FCC listing. The website also indicates that the smartphone will include support for 10W charging. The device will measure 164 × 74 × 8mm.

Since the Tecno Pop 7 is the base model, we can expect it to be cheaper than the recently-launched Tecno Pop 7 Pro. To recall, the Pro model starts at ₹6,799 for the 2GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
