Tecno Pova 7 5G Series Launching in India Today: Key Features, Specs, and What to Expect
Tecno is gearing up for a major reveal in India today with the launch of its Pova 7 5G series, a lineup that's expected to include four distinct models: the Pova 7 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 Ultra 5G, and Pova 7 Neo 5G.
With teasers dropping over the past week, the brand has already hinted at several design and feature upgrades, including a new visual interface and an AI assistant with multilingual support tailored for Indian users.

Launch Date and Time
The Tecno Pova 7 5G series is scheduled to launch today at 12:00 PM IST.
A Fresh Design Language with Delta Light Interface
Tecno is introducing a new Delta light interface with the Pova 7 5G series. This dynamic lighting element appears to be more than cosmetic—it’s meant to interact with system events like music playback, notifications, and volume changes. It’s an aesthetic and functional touch that aims to offer visual feedback without overwhelming the design.
MemFusion for Virtual RAM Expansion
The company has confirmed that the phones will support MemFusion—Tecno’s term for virtual RAM expansion. This feature allows part of the device’s storage to be used as additional memory, helping multitasking performance without relying solely on physical RAM.
Ella AI: Voice Assistant for Indian Users
All models in the Pova 7 5G lineup will ship with Tecno’s in-house voice assistant, Ella. Notably, Ella supports multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Tamil.
Voice recognition, real-time translations, and contextual call summaries are some of the features said to be integrated with Ella, aligning with Tecno’s AI push across its product ecosystem.

Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G: Display and Camera Upgrades
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is reported to reach up to 4,500 nits—a spec that, if accurate, could be beneficial for outdoor visibility.
The Pro model is also said to house a dual rear camera setup led by a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor and an 8MP secondary camera. Shooting modes like 4K video, Super Night mode, Dual Video, and Vlog mode are expected to be included out of the box.
Performance and Connectivity: Dimensity Chips and AI Features
Under the hood, the Tecno Pova 7 5G is rumored to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. This chipset reportedly supports AI-powered features such as real-time call translation and voice print recognition.
The device may also incorporate Tecno’s Intelligent Signal Hub System—a connectivity feature that debuted on the Pova Curve 5G. It's designed to maintain network reception even in traditionally weak-signal environments.
Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G: Power-Packed with Gaming Focus
The top-end Ultra model is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8350 SoC and may feature a similar 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Tecno appears to be targeting mobile gamers here, with claims of 120fps BGMI gameplay support.
The battery on the Ultra could be a 6,000mAh unit with 70W wired fast charging—marking a notable speed jump over the Pro variant’s 45W (wired) and 30W (wireless) charging capabilities.
Availability
Lastly, Tecno has confirmed that the entire Pova 7 5G series will be available exclusively on Flipkart following today's launch.
