The Tecno POVA Slim 5G is launching in India at 02:00 pm (IST) today. Following its launch, the POVA Slim 5G will go on sale in India through Flipkart. A microsite for the handset is live on the platform, which teases a few details about the POVA Slim.

In anticipation of the launch, Tecno has been revealing various features of this device, including its integration with Ella, Tecno's proprietary voice assistant that supports AI functionalities. According to teasers from Tecno, the POVA Slim 5G will feature a curved display.

Reports suggest it could be an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits. The brand claims it to be the "world's slimmest 3D curved display 5G smartphone," measuring just 5.93mm in thickness and weighing 156g.

Under the hood, the Tecno POVA Slim 5G is expected to house a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. It will likely operate on Android 15-based HiOS. The phone will come equipped with Ella, Tecno's AI assistant, which supports languages such as Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil.

The POVA Slim 5G promises connectivity even in areas with weak or no network signals. It includes features like No Network Communication, VoWi-Fi, and advanced 5G capabilities such as carrier aggregation with 5G++ and high bandwidth optimisation.

A dual camera setup is anticipated on the rear of this smartphone. Both cameras are surrounded by a Dynamic Mood Light feature that illuminates during calls or notifications. However, specific details about these cameras have not been disclosed yet.
