Tecno Spark 10 Pro Launched: Gaming Smartphone on a Budget

Tecno has launched the newest member in its Spark series of smartphones, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro. The device, first unveiled at the MWC 2023 earlier this month, is now listed on the brand's website. Let's have a look at the entry-level smartphone's specs.

Tecno Spark 10 Features

The Tecno Spark 10 sports a 6.8-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 × 2,460 pixels. The screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz and supports the DCI-P3 color gamut.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, which is manufactured on a 12nm process. The company claims the Helio G88 is "supercharged by the Gameturbo algorithm." The chipset, paired with the 90Hz display, makes it a gaming-centric device.

Accompanying the processor is a Mali G52 GPU. The smartphone supports 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Spark 10 Pro boots Android 13-base HiOS 12.6 out of the box.

Moving on to imaging, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro features a dual camera setup at the rear. It comprises a 50MP primary camera with an LED flash and AI lens. At the front, there's a 32MP selfie camera with a dual-LED flash.

The Spark 10 Pro packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support via a USB Type-C port. The handset features a fingerprint scanner at the side for security.

Connectivity options for the device include support for dual-SIM, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS. It will also get a 3.5mm audio port.

Tecno Spark 10 Pro Availability

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro is available in two configurations, with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The device comes in Starry Black and Pearl White colorways.

While the brand hasn't shared the pricing of the Spark 10 Pro yet, Tecno has suggested that it will be a "more affordable mid-range offering designed for the Gen Z". We can expect the smartphone to cost around ₹10,000 in India.
