Vivo Launches Y5s With 5,000mAh Battery And MediaTek Helio P65 Chipset
Vivo launched its latest Y-series smartphone - the Vivo Y5s in China on November 6. The highlights of the smartphone are triple rear camera setup, gradient finish design, waterdrop notch and more. The company has recently launched Vivo Y19 in Thailand and which is the rebranded version of the Vivo Y5s. Here are the details:

Vivo Y5s Specifications
Vivo Y5s is a mid-range smartphone which comes with a decent set of specifications. It packs a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with a waterdrop notch. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P65 processor clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.
As far as software is concerned, the Vivo Y5s comes with FunTouch OS 9.2 on top of Android 9 Pie. The company has not mentioned anything regarding the Android 10 update. The smartphone is fuelled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
On the optical front, the Vivo Y5s sports a triple rear camera setup with the combination of 16MP primary sensor + 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP macro lens. Upfront the smartphone houses a 13MP camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
It also comes with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and faces unlock support. On the connectivity part, the smartphone offers dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G VoLTE support.
The smartphone comes with a price tag of CNY 1,498 which is around Rs. 15,000 when converted to Indian currency. The Vivo Y5s will be available for purchase in three color options which includes blue, black, and green. As of now, the company is yet to announce the sale dates of the smartphone. Meanwhile, there is no information when Vivo is planning to introduce this smartphone in other markets like India.
