Vivo S5 Design Revealed By Official Poster

Vivo S5, the upcoming smartphone is hitting the rumor mills with every passing day. It is believed that this smartphone will be launched on November 14 alongside the Vivo S5 Pro similar to the Vivo S1 and S1 Pro earlier this year. While we are a week ahead of the launch of this smartphone, its front and rear design have been teased.

Vivo S5 Design Revealed

The Chinese smartphone maker shared a new poster of the Vivo S5. It showed the front and rear design of the smartphone. The Vivo smartphone's rear seems to have a distinct diamond-shaped camera design with three lenses and an LED flash. There seems to be a fourth lens below the camera module.

Moving on to the front, the Vivo S5 seems to have a punch-hole design and a high screen space. It is likely to feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo S5 - What To Expect?

While the teaser does not divulge any camera-related information, a leaked TENAA listing of the Vivo S5 tipped that the smartphone will house a quad-camera system at its rear. And, it hinted that there will be a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, a 5MP tertiary sensor and a 2MP fourth camera lens.

Furthermore, there are speculations that the upcoming Vivo smartphone will arrive with a Snapdragon 712 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It is said to run Android 9 Pie topped with the company's Funtouch OS 9.2.

The other aspects that are making the rounds on the internet include a 32MP selfie camera at the front and a 4100mAh battery, which might arrive with 22.5W fast charging support. There are claims that the company might sell the Vivo S5 Cai Xukun Custom Gift Box Edition in its home country.

What We Think

As of now, the company has started taking reservations for the Vivo S1 via its official online store. While it remains to be seen when this device will be launched in the global markets including India, we are sure that it will be launched in the country as the Vivo S1 is already available here.

And, it is believed to be an affordable quad-camera smartphone competing against the likes of those from Redmi and Realme. However, we need to wait for more details to know the same.
