Vivo S5 With Quad Cameras Confirmed To Launch On November 14

Vivo S5 Official Launch Details

The Vivo S5 is slated to launch on November 14 in Hangzhou, China. The launch date has been confirmed by a teaser shared by the company. While the teaser doesn't shed any light on the key hardware, the device has been leaked with a quad-camera setup at the rear stacked in a diamond-shaped pattern.

The smartphone is said to launch with a gradient pattern and be available in multiple colors. Currently, the renders and specification of the Vivo S5 are under the wraps and the only information we have is on the camera design.

However, the device is also tipped to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. With the launch date approaching, we can expect the specifications and features to be revealed online.

The smartphone will be the second model in the 'S' series after the S1. The Vivo S1 debuted recently in India and is a mid-range offering by the company. If we talk about the hardware, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels FHD+ resolution and 404 PPI.

It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 chipset accompanied by Mali-G52 GPU. The device comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable via microSD card).

The triple-lens rear camera module at the back sports a 16MP primary sensor with an f/1.78 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle-sensor with an F/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For security, it offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and is backed by a 4,500mAh battery.
