Vivo S17 Pro Key Specifications Leaked Including 50 MP Sony IMX766V Camera With OIS

The Vivo S17 series is set to make its debut in China soon. The line-up is expected to include the Vivo S17 and the Vivo S17 Pro. While Vivo is yet to provide details about the upcoming S17 series, several leaks surrounding the devices have been doing the rounds.

The latest leak provides details about the Vivo S17 Pro's cameras. According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo S17 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It is expected to use a 50MP primary camera with OIS support that will likely use a Sony IMX766V sensor.

Additionally, the primary camera will be paired with an 8MP ultrawide unit and a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens with presumably 2x optical zoom. At the front, the Vivo S17 Pro will likely use a 32MP selfie camera. The Vivo S17 Pro is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

The handset could sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The tipster added that the S17 Pro's screen would feature curved edges. The phone will also support 80W fast charging support. The Vivo S17 Pro will run on Android 13 with the latest Origin OS 3 skin on top.

The vanilla Vivo S17 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC. Other details about the vanilla version of the S17 are still scarce, although it might lose the third 12MP telephoto camera in place of a macro unit. The Vivo S17 Pro is expected to debut as the Vivo V29 Pro globally. However, its specifications and design appear similar to that of the Vivo V27 Pro, albeit with a few minor tweaks.
