Vivo S18 Series Launch Date Confirmed for December 14: What We Know So Far

The Vivo S18 series has got an official launch date in China. Last week, Vivo confirmed the launch of the S18 series in China without providing an official launch date, until now.

The Vivo S18 series will include the Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro, and Vivo S18e. The Vivo S18 series will make its global debut as the Vivo V30 or Vivo V31 series.

Vivo S18 Series Launch Date

The Vivo S18 series launch date in China is set for December 14, 2023. The Vivo S18 event will take place at 02:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. The Vivo TWS 3e will also be unveiled alongside the S18 series.

The Vivo S18 series has also been teased on the company's official Weibo channel, while an official event page for the device has gone live on Vivo's website in China.

Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro: What we know so far!

The website has confirmed key details about the Vivo S18 series. The vanilla Vivo S18 has been confirmed to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Apart from the chip, the Vivo S18 will also pack a 5,000 mAh battery. Vivo has also confirmed color options on the vanilla S18 - Clear (Blue), Flowers Are Blooming (White), and Black.

On the other hand, the Vivo S18 Pro will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Vivo has also confirmed that the S18 Pro will use the same VCS main camera as the Vivo X100, which is a 50 MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with a 1/1.49" sensor size, an f/1.57 aperture.

Additionally, both the main camera on the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro will feature OIS support. Moreover, the two devices feature a similar design. The Vivo S18 and S18 Pro feature a curved OLED display and a triple-camera setup on the back with a squared-shaped camera island.

The VCS camera branding is seen on both the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro. Moreover, the two devices also feature a new squarish Aura light, as compared to the ring Aura lights of the past. We can also expect the Vivo S18 Pro to feature a formidable tripe-camera setup with a "main + ultrawide + telephoto" configuration.

Vivo S18e: What we know so far!

Details about the Vivo S18e are still under wraps. However, Vivo has confirmed that the device will pack a 4,800 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Moreover, the Vivo S18e also features a slim design, measuring just 7.69mm thick.
