Vivo S20 Pro Specifications Tipped in New Leak; Could Feature Dimensity 9300+ Chip & Periscope Telephoto Lens
Vivo is reportedly launching the S20 series smartphones this month in China. The lineup will likely comprise -- the Vivo S20 and the S20 Pro, recently spotted on Chinese certification platforms with model numbers V2429A and V2430A, respectively.
Now, the features of the upcoming Vivo phone have been leaked online, revealing it will be the company's first S-series phone to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.

Tipster Digital Chat Station shared features of the upcoming Vivo phone. While he didn't mention the name of the device, the emoji used by the tipster suggests it could be the upcoming Vivo S20 Pro.
The Vivo phone is expected to come with an ultra-thin design and feature a 6.7-inch OLED LTPS micro-quad-curved screen with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The device is tipped to ship with the Dimensity 9300+ processor.
For imaging, the phone might opt for a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Upfront, it is expected to use a 50MP selfie camera. Moreover, the handset could pack a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It will also include an optical fingerprint sensor.
On the other hand, the standard Vivo S20 is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It is expected to pack a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. In terms of imaging, the standard variant could feature a dual rear camera system including a 50MP main lens and an 8MP secondary camera.
The S20 lineup phones are also tipped to come in at under 8mm in thickness. As of now, the exact launch date is still unknown. We expect the brand will soon confirm the arrival of the Vivo S20 series.
