Vivo S50 Key Specifications Tipped Ahead of Launch: Expected to Debut as the Vivo V70 in India Next Year
The Vivo S50 series is set to make its debut in China next month. The line-up will include the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini. We recently revealed the key specifications of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which is expected to make its global debut as the Vivo X300 FE. Now, new information has emerged, revealing key specifications of the Vivo S50, which will launch globally and in India as the Vivo V70.
Vivo S50 Specifications
According to tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), the Vivo S50 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. However, the post also reveals that the global variant, the Vivo V70, will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Moreover, the post suggests the Vivo S50 will pack a massive silicon carbon battery, anywhere between 6500mAh to 7000mAh. Additionally, it will also support 90W wired fast charging. It is also touted to sport a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
For optics, the Vivo S50 will feature a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope-telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. Up front, the phone is expected to get a 50MP selfie camera. The Vivo S50 will also boast an IP69 rating for resistance to dust and water and a metal frame.
Vivo S50 Series Launch: What to Expect
The Vivo S50 series could make its debut in China in a week or two. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini will feature a compact form factor and use the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
