Vivo is set to unveil its latest smartphones in the X100 series, the Vivo X100s and the Vivo X100 Ultra, with the latter leading the pack. The company's Vice President for Product, Huang Tao, recently shared camera samples of the X100 Ultra on Weibo, offering a glimpse into its impressive capabilities.

The shared images feature China's Chang'e-6 lunar probe, which embarked on a mission to explore the far side of the moon on May 3rd. While details remain scarce, it's evident that these images were captured using the phone's telephoto camera, likely utilizing some level of zoom. According to insights from tech insider Digital Chat Station, these shots showcase a 10x zoom capability.

Impressive Camera Specs Unveiled The leaked post also sheds light on the remarkable specifications of the telephoto camera. It's rumored to boast a 200-megapixel sensor, making it potentially the largest telephoto sensor in the industry with a size of 1/1.4 inches. Additionally, the camera is expected to feature a wide f/2.67 aperture, a 22.48mm physical focal length, and a "high pixel mode" capable of capturing images at an astonishing 12888 x 16320 resolution.

Moreover, reports suggest that the Vivo X100 Ultra will offer a 100x digital zoom feature alongside a "telephoto macro hybrid algorithm." This feature is likely to enable users to capture close-up shots of objects using the telephoto lens, enhancing the device's photography capabilities further.

Other Expected Features Apart from its camera prowess, the Vivo X100 Ultra is rumored to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED E7 display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it's expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, accompanied by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and support for 80W fast charging.

Anticipated Launch Later this month, we expect Vivo to unveil the X100s and the X100 Ultra. With the Vivo X100 Pro already impressing the industry, the X100 Ultra looks to add another feather to Vivo's cap.
