Vivo U20 With SD 675, Triple Cameras Launched: Online And Offline Sale Details

Vivo U20 is the latest budget offering by Vivo in India. The device debuted today as a successor to the Vivo U10 with features like a waterdrop notch display, the Snapdragon 675 processor, and a massive 5,000 mAh battery. While the device is launched online on Amazon, it is expected to hit the offline shelves as well. Following are the details:

The Vivo U20 is confirmed to be available via brick and mortar stores in India starting December 12, 2019 (tipped by 91Mobiles). The company also plans to keep consistent pricing of the device along with the sale offers both at the offline and online channels.

As for the pricing, the Vivo U20 is launched at Rs. 10,990 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is also a 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 11,990. You get two color options to choose from - Blaze Blue, and Racing Black colors.

The device's first sale is scheduled on November 28 at Amazon and Vivo e-shop. The company is giving no-cost EMI up to six months along with Rs. 1,000 off on prepaid purchase as a part of sale offers.

Vivo U20 Specifications And Features

The Vivo U20 offers a 6.53-inch display with an FHD+ resolution (1018 x 2340 pixels), a 90:3 screen-to-body ratio, and 480 nits peak brightness. The handset comes with Widevine L1 certification to allow streaming 1080p videos on platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime videos.

The handset ships with three-rear cameras housing a 16MP Sony IMX499 processor with an f/1.8 aperture. The primary sensor is clubbed with an 8MP wide-angle-sensor with a 120-degrees field of view and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

The U-shaped notch upfront packs a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. An octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor is the brains of operations combined with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage (up to 256GB).

For security, there is a fingerprint scanner placed at the rear panel. The Vivo U20 offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a dated microUSB port. Rounding off the specification sheet is a 5,000 mAh battery bundled with an 18W fast charger.
