Vivo U3, the mid-range smartphone by the Chinese manufacturer has been officially launched. The device was recently teased by the company on Weibo and has gone official in China. The key highlights of the device include a Snapdragon 675 chipset, an FHD+ display and a big battery with 18w fast charging. Let's have a look at the pricing and specifications:

Vivo U3 Specifications

The Vivo U3 features a 6.53-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. The device is equipped with a triple-lens rear camera setup that consists of a 16MP primary sensor.

Accompanying the primary lens is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. To capture selfies and video calling, the waterdrop notch houses a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

As for the processor, the handset makes use of an octa-core Snapdragon 675 chipset. It is launched in two configurations - 4GB+ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage configuration. In the software department, the device will ship with Android Pie OS layered with Fun Touch OS skin.

The device also supports Game Space and Multi-Turbo modes. For biometric authentication, the device is equipped with a fingerprint scanner. The other features include Jovi (company's own personal assistant), a microUSB port. The smartphone gets its fuel from a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Vivo U3 Price And Availability

The Vivo U3 base variant with 4GB RAM is launched at CNY 999 (approx Rs 10,024), while the 6GB RAM is priced at CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,037). It will go up on sale starting October 21 in China and is already up for pre-orders. It is launched in black, blue, and Porcelain Green colors.

As of now, Vivo has not revealed the availability of U3 in India and other markets. But with it going official in China, we can expect it to arrive sometime soon in the country.
