Vivo V17 With Punch-Hole Display Slated For December 9 Launch In India: Expected Price And Specs
Vivo V17 is the latest mid-range smartphone coming to India next month. Launched recently in the Russian market, the device was previously suggested to arrive in the country by mid-December. However, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is planning to bring the device a bit earlier. Details are as follows:

Vivo V17 India Launch Details
The Vivo V17 is expected to debut on December 9 in India. Vivo has reportedly started sending out media invites with a teaser revealing a punch-hole display. Notably, the V17 is launched with a waterdrop notch in the international market.
However, it was recently tipped to come with a punch-hole display in India. Therefore, the invite with the punch-hole display device is likely to be of the V17.
Vivo V17 Key Specifications
The Vivo V17 adorns a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. It sports a quad-rear camera module packing a 48MP Samsung GM1 primary sensor. The other sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The cameras are speculated to come with a Super Night Mode scene (both front and the rear). This will allow the smartphone to capture good quality low-light images. However, its performance can only be judged once the device goes official.
The Vivo V17 though will feature a Super Night Mode on both rear and front cameras. In other words, you will not only be able to shoot low light photos from the rear cameras, but good-looking selfies in low light.
For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP snapper upfront with an f/2.0 aperture. A Snapdragon 665 chipset is the brain of operations. The device is announced in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. It supports up to 256GB microSD card.
The Vivo V17 boots on Android Pie OS and offers a FunTouch OS 9.2 user interface. For security, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Face Unlock feature. There will be a USB Type-C port which can be used to charge the 4,500 mAh battery.
As for the expected pricing, the device is expected to be priced under Rs. 25,000. However, there is no concrete information available on its pricing.
