Vivo V27 Pro Surfaces On Google Play Console Suggest Imminent Launch Of V27 Series

Vivo launched the V25 series in India last year. The smartphone brand is now actively readying the V27 series for the global markets, including India. The prices of the upcoming Vivo 27 series smartphones and some of the key specifications of the international variants leaked online this week. Now, the V27 Pro has appeared on the Google Play console, which strongly suggests Vivo could soon announce the V27 series.

Vivo V27 Pro Leaked Via Google Play Console And Geekbench Listing

Vivo should soon announce the Vivo V27 series, which could include the base Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-end model, Vivo V27 Pro. The Vivo V27 series could be similar to the Vivo S16 series, but Indian buyers could get only the vanilla and Pro variant.

The Vivo V27 Pro has just been indirectly confirmed. The Vivo V27 Pro with model number V2230 has surfaced on Google Play Console. The SoCs used in the upcoming Vivo V27 Pro and V27e were recently due to two Geekbench listings.

Vivo is yet to officially acknowledge the existence of the Vivo V27 series. However, multiple reports suggest the Chinese smartphone brand could launch the series as early as next month. The smartphones in the Vivo V27 series should retail via the official Vivo e-commerce platform and Flipkart, just like other Vivo devices.

Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27e Leaked Specifications

The Vivo V27 Pro recently surfaced on Geekbench. The device being tested had 8GB of RAM and was powered by a MediaTek MT6896Z SoC, which had four Cortex A78 cores and four Cortex A55 cores. This chipset could be the MediaTek Dimensity 8200. MediaTek announced this chipset in December and hinted at the arrival of smartphones with the SoC.

Previous leaks about the Vivo smartphone suggest it could ship in two RAM + storage variants: 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage.

Other specifications Of the Vivo V27 Pro are currently unknown. However, it is possible the Vivo V27 Pro could be rebranded Vivo S16 Pro, which was launched in China last year.

As the name suggests, the Vivo V27E would sit below the Vivo V27 Pro. Even the leaked specifications indicate the same. Although the V27E has the same Full HD+ panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 440 PPI, it could be powered by MediaTek Helio G99 4G SoC.

The Vivo V27 too surfaced in the Geekbench database. The device may be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200, which could be paired with a Mali-G610MC4 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 258GB of storage.
