Vivo V27, V27 Pro India Price And Chipsets Of Global Variant Leak

Vivo should launch the Vivo V27 series in India soon. The series is a successor to the Vivo V25 series, which launched in September last year. The Vivo V27 series should include the base Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-end model, Vivo V27 Pro, but Indian buyers could get only the vanilla and Pro variant. The Vivo V27 series could be similar to the Vivo S16 series. Now the prices of the upcoming Vivo smartphones and the specifications of the global variants of these devices have leaked online.

Vivo V27 and V27 Pro Rumored Specifications

According to the latest leak, the vanilla Vivo V27 could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, while the Vivo V27 Pro may pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both smartphones should be launched with two RAM + storage variants: 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is important to note that MediaTek hasn't announced these chipsets yet. The naming suggests they sit below the Dimensity 9200 SoC.

The leak also claims Vivo could repeat the "fluorite AG glass" design, presumably because it was received well by buyers, generated a lot of curiosity, and created marketing hype. Last year, the V23 Pro (2021) and the V25 series had this technology and allowed the devices to change the color of the back panel when exposed to UV light.

Vivo has traditionally prioritized imaging hardware and the Vivo V27 series smartphones usually have a high-resolution front-facing camera. The Vivo V27 series should also pack upgraded front and rear cameras. According to rumors, the lineup will have a triple camera setup with the primary camera having a 50MP sensor.

Vivo should continue embedding an OIS-enabled primary camera with a high-resolution imaging sensor on the back while offering a front-facing camera with features such as "Eye Autofocus".

Vivo V27 and V27 Pro Expected Launch And Rumored Prices In India

Vivo is yet to offer any information about the Vivo V27 series. However, multiple reports suggest the Chinese smartphone brand could launch the series early next month.

Although the exact pricing is under wraps, the Vivo V27 would be priced at around ₹35,000 for the base model, while the Vivo V27 Pro might start at ₹40,000.

The phones in the Vivo V27 series should retail via the official Vivo e-commerce platform and Flipkart, just like other Vivo devices.
