Vivo V29e Launch Timeline and Specifications Leaked

Vivo is gearing up for the launch of its Vivo V29 series in India. A particular device from this series, the Vivo V29e, has been spotted on various certification websites including Geekbench, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and IMEI database, which signals a launch soon.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Vivo V29e will be the first one to launch here, and not the V29. It is slated to launch by the end of August. The report also highlighted leaked features of the phone. Let's take a closer look.

Vivo V29e: Specifications

According to leaked details, the Vivo V29e is likely to be the most premium model among the 'e' phones in the Vivo V series.

The Vivo V29e will come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone will be offered in two different configurations, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB.

The phone was spotted on Geekbench with the model number V2023. The listing confirmed that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed Holi. Holi is the codename for Snapdragon 480 5G/480+ 5G SoC.

The V29e is likely to run on Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13 out of the box.

Battery, camera and other details are yet to be known about the upcoming smartphone. We expect to know more as we come closer to the launch date.

Vivo V29e: Design

The Vivo V29e is likely to debut with a new unique design. It will boast of a glass finish, along with a colour-changing glass back. The body design is expected to be ultra-slim. It will additionally have a 3D curved display. This display will support 120Hz refresh rate.

Vivo hasn't officially started teasing or revealing anything about the upcoming device yet. However, given the imminent launch, the company is expected to start teasing the launch via its social media accounts soon.

Vivo recently overtook Samsung to clinch the position of the top leading brand, calculated as per market share, in the Indian smartphone market, according to a report from IDC India. Vivo recorded a 16% market share, while Samsung had 15.7%.
