Vivo V40 Series Likely to Launch Next Month in India; IP68 Rating and 3D Curved Display Tipped
Vivo is expected to launch the V40 series next month in India, which is likely to include two models namely - the Vivo V40 and the V40 Pro. The Pro variant was also spotted on the BIS certification, hinting at an imminent launch.
Now, the latest information has shared some details regarding the upcoming Vivo V40 series. Let's dive into the details.

Vivo V40 Series: What to Expect?
According to 91mobiles (via industry sources), the Vivo V40 series will be the slimmest phone with a 5,500mAh battery in the segment. The V40 series will also come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Both the models will be offered in Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey colour options in India. They are also said to feature a cushioning structure for durability and a 3D curved display with an Infinity Eye camera module.
Moreover, the Indian variant of Vivo V40 will have the same set of specs as the international variant. For the unaware, the brand launched the Vivo V40 last month with a 6.78-inch Curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The Vivo V40 also features a dual rear camera system including a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera and a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera with autofocus. Upfront, it gets a 50MP selfie camera for selfies and videos. The handset packs a 5,500 mAh battery unit with support for 80W fast charging.
Coming to the Vivo V40 Pro model, which is tipped to come with the same battery and IP rating as the standard model; however, it's expected to get some upgrades over the V40.
Vivo V40 Series India Launch (Expected)
The Vivo V40 series is expected to go official in August in India. However, Vivo has not shared any details regarding this. If this turns out to be true, we expect the brand will soon confirm the same.
