Vivo V50 Specifications
Vivo has already confirmed key specifications of the V50 ahead of the launch. The phone will retain the dual-camera setup from last year, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens with AF. Both cameras will support 4K video recording. Up front, the Vivo V50 will come with a 50MP selfie camera with AF.
All three cameras on the Vivo V50 are co-engineered with ZEISS, offering seven classic ZEISS-style bokeh effects. Additionally, the circular Aura flash module also makes an appearance on the back. The Vivo V50 will pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery, making it the slimmest smartphone with such a large battery in the segment.
Vivo claims the battery on the V50 will offer smooth performance for 60 months. The phone is also expected to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display. Vivo has also confirmed that its upcoming mid-ranger will come with several AI features.
Moreover, the landing page also reveals the three colour options for the Vivo V50, including Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Blue, which is the first to use '3D-Star technology' in India. The Vivo V50's screen will also be protected by Diamond Shield Glass, which is said to be 50% more drop-resistant compared to Schott glass on its predecessor. Vivo's upcoming V series smartphone will also feature an IP68+IP69 rating for flagship-grade dust and water resistance.
