Vivo V70 And V70 FE Tipped To Launch In India, No V70e In Sight: Expected Specs And Launch Timeline

Vivo’s next V-series refresh is still a few months away, but early leaks are starting to sketch out what the lineup could look like. According to tipster Paras Guglani, the upcoming Vivo V70 series, expected to launch in early 2026, may drop 4G models altogether and introduce two new variants: the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 FE.

If this information holds up, it would mark a subtle but important shift in how Vivo approaches its mid-range phones.

No 4G Models, And No Pro Versions Either

As per Paras Guglani’s tip, all phones in the Vivo V70 lineup are expected to support 5G connectivity, with no 4G-only versions planned. That’s a change from previous V-series launches, where Vivo often offered Lite models in both 4G and 5G configurations.

The same tip also claims that Vivo isn’t planning any Pro or Pro Plus models for the V70 series. That wouldn’t be entirely out of character, since the V60 lineup followed a similar pattern. What stands out more is the reported absence of a V70e, which Vivo has used in earlier generations.

Instead, the company appears to be leaning toward Elite and Fan Edition (FE) branding to differentiate models.

Market-Specific Launch Plans Could Be In Play

Another detail shared by the tipster is that Vivo may not launch every V70 model in every market. The standard Vivo V70 is said to be headed for India, while the V70 Lite and V70 Elite could be positioned for global markets.

The V70 FE may also launch in India, though that part of the plan seems less certain for now.

What We Know About The Standard Vivo V70

Concrete hardware details are still scarce, but earlier reports suggest the standard Vivo V70 could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50 sold in China.

If that’s the case, the phone may feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a triple rear camera setup. The cameras are expected to include a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP selfie camera is also rumored.

Other expected specs include a 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired fast charging, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
