Vivo V9 has is now up for sale in India via offline stores across the country. As reported by Gadgets 360, the smartphone will be available via online platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Vivo E-Store starting from April 5, Thursday. Vivo's latest flagship offering was launched in India for Rs. 22,990 in late last month.
Launch offers on Vivo V9 include a cashback of worth Rs. 2,299 for Paytm customers by using the code 'VIVOV9'. Amazon is also giving cashback of 5 percent in the form of Pay balance. Customers who pre-booked the device will get one-time screen replacement warranty, additional discount of Rs. 2,000, as well as no-cost EMIs. There's more, Vivo e-store and Amazon will give away couple movie tickets from BookMyShow on pre-orders of the smartphone.
To recall, the Vivo V9 comes with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) IPS 'FullView Display 2.0' with the aspect ratio of 19:9. It has minimal bezels around the display and a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the smartphone makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The chipset is clubbed with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space; further expandable up to 256GB using the dedicated microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the V9 flaunts a dual rear camera setup with an f/2.0 16MP primary sensor and an f/2.4 5MP secondary sensor. The rear camera can record videos in 4K format at 30fps. The camera app comes with various modes and filters such as Face Beauty video call, HDR, AR stickers, Portrait lighting effect.
At the front, the smartphone is equipped with an AI-powered 24MP sensor that has an aperture size of f/2.0. The front camera also supports facial recognition technology.
The V9 runs on Android Oreo-based FunTouch OS and it is backed by a 3,260mAh battery inside. Connectivity options onboard include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. There are sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
