Vivo X Flip Moniker Confirmed as It Appears on Google Play Supported Devices List
Vivo's upcoming flip phone was spotted on Google Play's listing, confirming the Vivo X Flip moniker. The smartphone's appearance on the listing hints at an imminent launch. It could arrive first in China, followed by a global debut.
According to the Google Play listing, the Vivo X Fip bears the model number V2256A. No other details could be gleaned from it. Just recently, it was spotted on the 3C certification website, suggesting that the phone will include support for 44W fast charging.

In addition, the X Fold made an appearance on the Geekbench database last week. The device scored 1695 points in the single-core test, while it managed to bag 4338 points in the multi-core test.
Vivo X Flip: Rumored Features
As per the Geekbench listing, the Vivo X Flip will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The model was spotted on the database with 12GB of RAM. It could also get up to 256GB or 512GB storage variants.

As for the display, the X Flip could sport a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The handset's display could feature a punch-hole cutout at the front, which will house the selfie camera.
Speaking of cameras, the Vivo X Flip is said to feature a Zeiss-branded dual-camera setup at the rear. It may comprise a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera and a 12MP IMX663 ultrawide sensor.
When it comes to the operating system, the X Flip will boot Android 13 out of the box. The phone will have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 or Origin OS 3 on top, depending on the market.
According to rumors, the Vivo X Flip will pack a 4,400mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. In addition, the phone will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
