Vivo X Flip With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC Surfaces on Geekbench
The Vivo X Flip has been spotted on Geekbench, weeks ahead of its April launch. The listing confirms the company's first clamshell foldable will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
When it launches, the Vivo X Flip will likely compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the upcoming Moto Razr 5G. According to rumors, the X Flip will debut in China next month.

Vivo X Flip Geekbench Score
The Vivo X Flip appeared on the Geekbench database with the model number V2256A. The smartphone managed a score of 1695 points in the single-core test. Meanwhile, the device bagged 4338 points in the multi-core test.
According to the listing, the Vivo X Flip is powered by an octa-core chipset, codenamed taro. The processor has a base frequency of 1.8GHz and a max clock frequency of 3GHz. The Geekbench listing hints at a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The upcoming smartphone will feature 12GB internal storage and will likely feature an Adreno 730 GPU. In addition, the benchmark database reveals that the Vivo X Flip will boot Android 13 out of the box.
Vivo X Flip Rumored Features
According to past leaks, the Vivo X Flip could sport a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED screen. The display will likely have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone could feature a punch-hole cutout at the center for the selfie camera.
Speaking of cameras, the Vivo X Flip could get a dual-camera setup at the rear, located above the cover display. It could include a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor and a 12MP IMX663 ultrawide lens.
The rear camera array will get Zeiss-branded sensors. We can expect the flagship phone to feature Zeiss-exclusive features such as professional portrait filters and T-star coating. Meanwhile, the selfie camera will be housed in the front display's punch-hole notch.
Past reports suggest that the Vivo X Flip will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery. The battery will likely support 44W fast charging. As for security, the smartphone will get a fingerprint scanner at the side.
