Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Launch Date in India Confirmed Through Official Microsite: Check Full Specifications

Vivo recently confirmed the launch of its flagship foldable smartphone in India. As of now, there's no official launch date for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, with the company only confirming it will be coming soon.

However, Vivo has set up an official page for the X Fold 3 Pro, where it might have accidentally leaked the launch date. To recall, the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro were unveiled earlier this year in China.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Launch Date in India

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro launch date in India is scheduled for June 6, 2024, according to the official microsite. The launch date is listed in the disclaimer section of the microsite.

The first point reads, "The term "India's Slimmest Fold" pertains to the X Fold 3 Pro, which measures 11.2mm (1.12cm) in thickness when folded, as of its launch date until June 06, 2024, in the Fold Smartphone category, based on Internal Research."

Following its launch, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will go on sale in India through Flipkart and the company's official website. In India, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will compete against the likes of the OnePlus Open (Review) and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Specifications

Since the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has already been unveiled in China, its specifications are readily available. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC on the X Fold 3 Pro will be accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

It will run Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 with Vivo's Blue LM AI incorporation. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will pack a 5,700 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The foldable will also pack stereo speakers with Wireless Lossless Hi-Fi audio.

Vivo's upcoming foldable smartphone sports a main 8.03-inch 8T LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. On the outside, there's a 6.53-inch 8T LTPO OLED cover display with a resolution of 2748 x 1172 pixels. Both screens feature a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.

The cameras on the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro have been co-developed with ZEISS, similar to the Vivo X100 Pro (Review) The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will feature a 50 MP VCS Bionic OmniVision OV50H primary sensor with an f/1.68 aperture and OIS support.

Additionally, the main camera is paired with a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 64 MP OV64B telephoto-periscope shooter with an f/2.57 aperture, OIS, and 3x optical zoom. Lastly, the foldable smartphone has a 32 MP selfie camera on each of the displays with an f/2.4 aperture.
