Vivo X Fold 6 Price in India Tipped Ahead of V80 Launch Event: Here's What to Expect
Vivo is reportedly preparing to expand its foldable smartphone lineup in India with the Vivo X Fold 6. The company's next book style foldable is expected to arrive as a premium flagship, with a new leak revealing its possible India launch date and pricing. If accurate, the Vivo X Fold 6 could be one of the most expensive foldable smartphones to launch in the country.
Vivo has not officially confirmed the India launch date, price or specifications of the X Fold 6 yet. The leaked details should therefore be treated as unofficial until the company makes an announcement.

Vivo X Fold 6 India Launch, Price Leaked
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo X Fold 6 could launch in India on October 6. The leak claims that the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant could be priced at Rs 2,19,999 in the country.
The foldable is also reportedly expected to launch alongside the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE. An earlier report had suggested that the entry level variant of the Vivo X Fold 6 could be priced above Rs 1.6 lakh in India.
For comparison, the Vivo X Fold 6 is listed in China at CNY 7,999, which is roughly Rs 1,15,500 based on the current conversion. The substantial difference between the reported India price and its Chinese pricing could make the Indian variant significantly more expensive, although taxes, duties, storage configuration and other market specific factors need to be considered.
If the Rs 2,19,999 leak turns out to be accurate, Vivo would be positioning the X Fold 6 firmly in the ultra premium foldable segment, competing with flagship foldables from Samsung, Google and OnePlus.
Vivo X Fold 6 Expected Specifications
The Vivo X Fold 6 is tipped to feature a 6.51 inch AMOLED cover display and an 8.02 inch AMOLED inner display. Both screens are expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate. The displays could reportedly reach up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, although actual brightness levels can vary depending on usage and content.
Under the hood, the foldable is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, reportedly manufactured using a 3nm process. The India variant could come with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
On the software front, the X Fold 6 is expected to run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. However, the exact software version and features for the Indian market have not yet been confirmed.
7,000mAh Battery and Fast Charging
The battery could be one of the biggest highlights of the Vivo X Fold 6. The foldable is tipped to pack a 7,000mAh battery, which would be a sizeable capacity for a book style foldable.
The device is also expected to support 80W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. A large battery combined with fast charging could help Vivo address one of the common concerns with foldable smartphones, which is battery endurance when using the larger inner screen extensively.
The X Fold 6 could also feature IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance. Since foldable phones have additional moving components and a flexible display, Vivo's hinge construction and durability claims will be important factors when the phone is officially announced.
Vivo X Fold 6 Camera Specifications
The camera setup could be another major highlight of the Vivo X Fold 6. The smartphone is tipped to feature a triple rear camera system comprising a 200 megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50 megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
For selfies and video calls, the foldable could feature a 20 megapixel front facing camera.
While the 200 megapixel primary sensor is likely to attract attention, real world camera performance will depend on factors such as sensor size, optics, image processing, stabilisation and Vivo's camera tuning.
For now, the October 6 launch date and India pricing remain unconfirmed. Vivo's official announcement will ultimately determine the X Fold 6's India price, available variants, specifications and launch offers.
