Vivo X100 Series Launch in India Confirmed: First MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Smartphone
Vivo has officially confirmed the release of the X100 series in India. To recall, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were unveiled in China earlier this year.
The Chinese smartphone maker has set up a microsite for the Vivo X100 series on its Indian website. As of now, there is no official launch date, but we previously reported that the Vivo X100 series would arrive in India in early January 2024.

Vivo X100 Series Price in India (Expected)
The Vivo X100 price starts from CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 46,500) in China, while the Vivo X100 Pro price in China starts from CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 58,150).
We expect the Vivo X100 price in India to start from under Rs 60,000. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro price in India will likely start from in and around the 80K-mark.
Vivo X100 Specifications
The Vivo X100 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Vivo X100 runs on Android 14-based OriginOS 4.0 out of the box. The Vivo X100 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.
The Vivo X100 sports a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz high frequency dimming. The screen features a pixel density of 452 PPI and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
For optics, the Vivo X100 features a 50 MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with a 1/1.49" sensor size, an f/1.57 aperture, and OIS support. The other two sensors include a 50 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 64 MP telephoto unit with OIS support. Up front, the Vivo X100 opts for a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Vivo X100 Pro Specifications
The Vivo X100 Pro features the same display, chipset, selfie camera, and software as the vanilla Vivo X100. However, the The Vivo X100 Pro features a 50 MP Sony IMX989 1-inch type primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and OIS support.
The main camera is paired with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 50 MP floating telephoto-periscope lens features an f/2.5 aperture, a 1/2" sensor size, and OIS support. It also has an improved V3 display chip. The Vivo X100 Pro also opts for a larger 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
