Vivo X200 Series Launch Timeline in India Revealed: Here’s How Much We Think the Line-up Will Cost

The Vivo X200 series recently made its debut in China as the first flagship smartphones of the next generation and the first to incorporate the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The line-up includes the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini.

While there is no official release date for the Vivo X200 series outside China, a new report gives us insight into its launch in India. According to 91mobiles, the Vivo X200 series could launch in India earlier than expected.

Vivo X200 Series India Launch Timeline

According to the report, the Vivo X200 series launch date in India will take place in late November or early December 2024. To recall, the Vivo X100 series was unveiled in India back in January 2024, it followed the iQOO 12 5G as the second flagship line-up in the country and the first to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip.

However, this time out, the Vivo X200 series could be the first flagship series from the next generation to make its way to India. Moreover, it will also be the first smartphone to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset in the country.

Vivo X200 Series Pricing in India (Expected)

The Vivo X200 price in China starts from CNY 4,300 (roughly Rs. 51,000). The Vivo X200 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro Mini prices start from CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 63,000) and CNY 4,699 (about Rs. 56,000), respectively.

We believe the Vivo X200 price in India will likely start from under Rs 70,000. On the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro price in India could get a slight hike, falling anywhere between Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,00,000. It is unclear whether the Vivo X200 Pro Mini will launch in India.

Vivo X200 Series Key Highlights

Apart from the chip, the Vivo X200 series will feature a triple-camera setup co-developed with ZEISS. The setup will include three 50MP sensors for the main, ultrawide, and periscope lenses on the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro Mini. However, the Vivo X200 Pro will feature an updated 200MP 'Super-Telephoto' sensor, accompanying its two 50MP sensors.

The Vivo X200 series will also feature dedicated imaging chips, with the 'Pro' models using the latest V3+ chip. The Vivo X200 series' cameras are also co-developed with ZEISS and use ZEISS T* lens coating. The main camera on all three phones features CIPA 4.5 professional-grade image stabilization, although the 'Pro' model opts for it on the 200MP lens as well.

The battery specifications of the Vivo X200 series are equally impressive, with the base model housing a 5,800mAh battery with 90W wired charging capability. The Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini are equipped with 6,000mAh and 5,800mAh silicone anode batteries, respectively.

The Vivo X200 series will also feature 120Hz OLED displays, although the X200 and X200 Pro will use quad-curved panels, while the X200 Pro Mini will opt for a flat screen. Additionally, the screen on the Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini will also feature LTPO technology. The Vivo X200 series also features an IP69 rating and runs Android 15 out of the box.
