Vivo X200 Ultra Launch Timeline Tipped—Vivo X200s to Tag Along

Vivo is gearing up to expand its X200 lineup with two new smartphones-the X200 Ultra and X200s. According to a fresh leak from a Weibo tipster Experience More, both devices are expected to be unveiled between mid and late April in China. This launch comes six months after the X200 and X200 Pro debuted in October last year, continuing Vivo's pattern of staggered releases.

While Vivo hasn't officially confirmed these devices yet, multiple sources suggest that the X200 Ultra will focus on camera innovations and high-end performance, while the X200s will serve as a more affordable variant with a different chipset.

Vivo X200 Ultra: Expected Specifications

According to previous leaks, the Vivo X200 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED 2K display with minimal bezels. On the back, it is expected to house a triple-camera system, including a 50MP primary sensor with a 1/1.3-inch size, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.4-inch sensor. The primary camera will reportedly default to a 1.5x zoom instead of the standard 1x zoom, while the ultra-wide lens will function at 1x zoom rather than the usual 0.5x or 0.6x.

The device is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, coupled with up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage. It is also expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo X200s: Expected Specifications

The Vivo X200s is expected to offer a similar design to the X200 but with a key difference in the processor. It is said to feature a 6.67-inch OLED LTPS 1.5K flat display with slim bezels.

Instead of the standard Dimensity 9400 chip found in the X200, the X200s will reportedly be powered by the Dimensity 9400 Plus, an overclocked version of MediaTek's high-end chipset.

The device is also expected to come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a feature that is gradually becoming more common in premium smartphones.

Will the X200 Ultra and X200s Launch Outside China?

There is no word yet on whether these devices will launch in global markets. Since previous Ultra and S models from Vivo did not arrive in India, it is unlikely that the X200 Ultra or X200s will be released there.

However, Vivo may introduce some variants or rebranded models in other regions later.
