The Vivo X20 promo video also reveals that the device will pack a quad rear camera setup, which is vertically aligned. The rear of the smartphone doesn't showcase a fingerprint scanner, so it can be assumed that Vivo has installed an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Going into the details, the Vivo X30 promo video shows the fourth camera lens is placed separately below the LED flash. It could be possibly showcasing a periscope lens for advanced zooming capabilities, probably with up to 60x zoom. Speculations suggest that the smartphone will pack a 64MP, 8MP, 13MP, a 2MP quad-camera system while the Pro edition may house 60MP, 13MP, 13MP, and a 12MP camera setup.

The promo video also shows a USB Type-C charging port at the bottom alongside the speaker grille. Other function buttons like the volume buttons and the power button are placed on the right side of the screen display. Vivo has also confirmed that the new smartphone will have support for 33W fast charging, with a 3C certification.

Vivo X30 With Samsung Exynos 980 Chipset

The Vivo X30 will be the first smartphone to pack the Samsung Exynos 980 SoC. The chipset will support the smartphone for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. This will make the smartphone part of Vivo's big offering of 5G smartphones that are ready for launch.

Moreover, other smartphone makers are also right behind with their 5G flagship smartphones. There's the upcoming Honor V30, Huawei Nova 6, and more which are slated to launch before the year ends.
