The Vivo X300 FE is expected to debut in India next month alongside the X300 Ultra. While Vivo has yet to officially confirm the launch, the X300 FE was recently unveiled in Russia, hinting that its India release may not be far behind.
According to a new report by 91mobiles, the Indian variant of the Vivo X300 FE could ship with a ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit. For context, the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, which launched in India last month, also bundled this accessory.

Vivo X300 FE To Feature Telephoto Extender Kit
The kit includes a 200mm external lens designed to enhance long-range photography, catering to users who want more professional grade zoom capabilities from their smartphone.
Close industry sources have told 91mobiles that the Vivo X300 FE will support the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit, although it is expected to be sold separately. The accessory attaches to the phone's telephoto lens via a dedicated case and is said to extend zoom capabilities by 2.35x, offering up to 200mm optical zoom and a maximum focal length of 1600mm.
The report also suggests that the Vivo X300 FE will feature a ZEISS-backed 50MP telephoto sensor. In addition, the device is expected to include a range of AI-powered portrait modes, which, when paired with the extender kit, could further enhance portrait photography.

The Vivo X300 FE uses a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. This adaptive rate aims to balance smooth scrolling with power saving. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (non-Elite) chipset pairs with 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, targeting users who run heavy apps or switch between many tasks.
Internal storage options on the Vivo X300 FE include 256GB and 512GB, both using UFS 4.1 technology for faster data access. On the back, a visor-style camera housing holds a 50MP IMX921 main sensor, a 50MP IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera geared towards everyday wide scenes and group shots.
Vivo equips the X300 FE with IP68 and IP69 ratings, indicating resistance against dust and water under specific test conditions. The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo promises 5 years of operating system updates and 7 years of security patches, which should appeal to buyers who keep phones for longer periods. Vivo has not yet confirmed any launch plans for India or other global markets.
