Vivo X300 Ultra Launch Date in India Confirmed for May 6: Vivo X300 FE Will Tag Along

Vivo has officially announce the launch date of its 'Ultra' flagship in India. The X300 Ultra will be Vivo's first 'Ultra' flagship smartphone to debut in India. Additionally, the Chinese smartphone maker also confirmed that the Vivo X300 FE will accompany the X300 Ultra.

Both phones support modular optical accessories, a feature highlighted in teasers, and will be available through major online marketplaces and retail channels across the country. The launch follows the debut of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro in India.

Vivo X300 Ultra, X300 FE Launch Date in India

The Vivo X300 Ultra launch date in India is set to take place on May 6 at 12 pm (IST). To recall, the Vivo X300 Ultra made its debut in China earlier this month, while the X300 FE launched in Russia in March. Following their launch, the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE will go on sale in India through Amazon.in, Flipkart, the vivo India online store, and offline retail outlets.

In China, the Vivo X300 Ultra fetches a starting price of CNY 6,999 (roughly ₹95,900). On the other hand, the Vivo X300 FE price in Russia starts from RUB 60,124 (roughly Rs. 71,100). We expect the Vivo X300 Ultra price in India to fall anywhere between 1.4 to 1.5 lacs. On the other hand, the Vivo X300 FE price in India could start from under Rs 70,000.

Vivo X300 Ultra Specifications

The Vivo X300 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its triple ZEISS Master rear setup includes a 200MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with gimbal-grade stabilization, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.

It supports a dedicated Camera Grip Kit as well as the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra. This extender locks onto the main camera housing and increases the optical reach to a 400mm equivalent, targeting users who want professional-style zoom from a smartphone.

A 50MP front camera sits in the display for selfies and video chats. Powering the Vivo X300 Ultra is a 6600 mAh battery, paired with 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Core hardware on the X300 FE includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and a 6.31-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The chassis weighs about 191g, aimed at users who prefer lighter handsets without giving up high-end performance.

The camera system on the vivo X300 FE features three ZEISS-branded rear sensors. The primary camera uses a 50MP sensor, supported by a 50MP periscope zoom lens and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. On the front, a 50MP camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone runs on a 6500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Both the X300 Ultra and X300 FE are promised 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security updates.
