Vivo X300 Ultra With Dual 200MP Sensors Leaked Ahead of Launch: Will It Come to India?
Vivo looks ready to push smartphone cameras even further with its upcoming X300 Ultra. A new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed details about the device’s imaging setup, hinting at some big upgrades that could arrive in the first half of 2026.

A Closer Look at the Cameras
According to the leak, the Vivo X300 Ultra may feature a triple-camera setup with two 200MP sensors. The main shooter is said to be Sony’s new IMX09E sensor, built on a 22nm process and measuring 1/1.12 inches. On paper, this should bring better low-light performance and improved dynamic range, thanks to features like Hybrid Frame-HDR and full-pixel fusion for lossless zoom.
Alongside it, Vivo is tipped to use the Sony LYT-828 as the ultra-wide lens. This 50MP sensor will also serve as the primary camera on the X300 Pro. For telephoto duties, the X300 Ultra could rely on another 200MP periscope lens based on Samsung’s HPB sensor, giving it serious zoom potential.
The leak also suggests that the front camera will be 50MP across the entire X300 lineup, with autofocus and a wide 92-degree field of view.
What About the Vivo X300 Pro?
While the Ultra grabs attention for its dual 200MP setup, the Vivo X300 Pro is also in the spotlight. It’s expected to debut with the Sony LYT-828 main sensor and a custom Samsung 200MP ISOCELL HPB “Thanos” telephoto module, built exclusively for Vivo. The Pro also brings improvements to stabilization, optics, and focus tracking.
Will the Ultra Come to India?
That’s the big question. Vivo’s past strategy offers mixed signals. Both the X200 and X200 Pro launched in India, but the X200 Ultra was kept exclusive to China. If the company follows a similar approach, Indian buyers may only get the X300 and X300 Pro.
Still, given the growing interest in Ultra models from brands like Samsung and Xiaomi, Vivo might rethink that strategy this time.
