Vivo X500 Series Global Launch Date Confirmed: Check Expected Price Range and Full Specifications

Vivo is gearing up to launch its X500 series in Europe later this year, with the Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max expected to make their global debut on October 27.

The company has opened a dedicated microsite in Austria, confirming the launch date, event timing and pre-order schedule. Ahead of the announcement, certification listings have also revealed battery capacities for the European models, suggesting that their specifications could differ from the Chinese variants.

Vivo X500 Series Launch Date, Expected Global Price

The Vivo X500 series will launch in Europe on October 27 at 4pm CET (8:30pm IST). Pre-orders are scheduled to begin on the same day, while open sales will start on November 5. Vivo has yet to confirm whether India will be included in the initial global rollout.

In China, the Vivo X500 starts at CNY 5,499 (approximately Rs 79,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The X500 Pro starts at CNY 6,499 (around Rs 93,000), while the X500 Pro Max is priced from CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs 1,00,000).

The global pricing is yet to be announced. However, the series could start at under EUR 999 (around Rs 1.03 lakh) or more, depending on the model and regional configuration. European pricing may differ significantly from the Chinese prices due to taxes and other regional costs.

Vivo X500 Series Specifications and Features

The European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) database has listed battery capacities for all three global models. The Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6,570mAh rated battery, potentially advertised as 6,800mAh. The X500 Pro could pack a 6,305mAh rated battery, marketed as 6,500mAh, while the standard X500 may feature a 5,180mAh rated battery, equivalent to a marketed capacity of 5,300mAh.

These capacities are smaller than those of their Chinese counterparts. The Chinese Vivo X500 packs a 7,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, while the X500 Pro and Pro Max feature 6,510mAh and 8,000mAh batteries, respectively.

The Vivo X500 Pro series in China is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. However, the company has not confirmed whether European models will use the same processor or whether the standard X500 will feature a different chipset.

Vivo has also yet to reveal the global camera specifications, charging speeds, memory configurations and colour options. The X500 lineup is expected to retain the series' camera-focused positioning, although its final imaging hardware remains unconfirmed.
